Sabinsa Corporation’s parent company Sami Labs, was recognized by the Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council of India (Pharmexcil) with a Silver Award for Outstanding Export Performance Award, Herbals & Pharma Allied Products for 2017 – 2018.
Pharmexcil, a ministry set up by the Government of India as a gateway to the global pharma trade, presents awards each year to acknowledge those companies that achieve significant export success. The awards were presented at Pharmexcil‘s 14th annual meeting, sponsored by Department of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. Dr. S. Natajaran, Sr. Vice President - R&D, Sami Labs, accepted the award on behalf of the company.

Previous honors Sami Labs has received from Pharmexcil in the Herbals category include Outstanding Export Performance for 2016 – 2017, both Patents and Outstanding Export recognition for 2015 – 2016, the top Pharmexcil Patent Award for 2014 – 2015, in the 2012 – 2013 Herbals, Ayurveda & Nutraceuticals category: the Gold for Patents and the Silver for Exports in Herbals, and Patents for 2010 – 2011 in the Herbals, Ayurveda & Nutraceuticals category.
